ARTISAN SHOPS * Las Ferias Artesanales

The Dominicos - a great location for purchasing the best of the best artisan work in Santiago. Sometimes also the priciest. But at this location many of the workshops are right behind the small stores or stalls where the works are sold. It´s an old Dominican church and monestary.

there are clean water streams that run through the walkways, spots for resting, eating, enjoying music, watching the artists work, and shopping. Notice in the white workshop/store that there is a second story where a second artisan is at work (peaking through the window).

After shopping, we went to the local Italian restaurant, one of Dubi´s favorites, and had a great meal. The desserts were amazing!
